Surprised that NAR hasn't announced this one yet: English actor Simon MacCorkindale died last month.

Yes, that's him, the lead actor in the short-lived, 80s television series "Manimal":

Anyway, for those not old enough to have seen this series, here's YouTube to the rescue (and someone with way too much time on his/her hands):

that's him with his EA daughter. his wife is tibetan and they were active in the free tibet movement.

would it be accurate to refer to tibetans as chinese since tibet is in china ? but that might be like referring to taiwanese as chinese :? it's controversial.

I don't like Chinese food whether I've eaten it in the States, Europe, a Chinese home (4 homes), or Latin America but do I love Tibetan food so they must be very culturally different judging by food!!!! Tibetan food has a lot of Indian influence.

Yeah, and some Tibetans look a bit Indian or Caucasian. In TV documentaries they show how they went to India by foot from Tibet, so yeah, close to India, Even a part of Tibet in India if I remember correctly.

Very sad over Donna Summer. She was very talented and not a druggie. Lived in Germany for a long time.

I have no idea what she's saying. Well she mentions kinder--that I get.
